
Dr Rose Kling has over 30+ years of experience in education and training. Since 2004 Rose has lectured in business and from 2012 to 2020, Rose worked with the Tasmanian School of Business and Economics, University of Tasmania (UTAS) delivering Business Management, Entrepreneurship, Workplace Literacy and Corporate Internship units.
Most recently Rose was the MBA Director, Course Coordinator of the Graduate Certificate in Business, and a Senior Lecturer in Strategic Management at UTAS.
For 10+ years, Rose owned and operated two Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) in Brisbane and Hobart delivering the TAE Certificate IV and dual TAE Diploma, and Business Diplomas. Rose has personally trained 2000+ participants in the TAE Certificate IV and hundreds of participants in Management.
Rose is an Accredited Practitioner and former Councillor for the Australian Institute of Training and Development (AITD), a former Executive Board member for Adult Learning Australia (ALA) and a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD). She is also an Adult Literacy Support Officer (ALSO) with 26TEN and was contracted as Project Manager through Skills Tasmania to deliver a workforce development program in LL&N (Language, Literacy & Numeracy) for TAFE Teachers and Trainers across Tasmania.
Rose has presented many conference papers and published articles on Adult Learning and Development along with a chapter in a Vocational Education and Training (VET) textbook. Rose is a committee member of the International Institute of Social and Economic Sciences (Prague) and a peer reviewer for the International Journal of Teaching and Education.
